Roper Guitars: Handcrafted since 1979
Pat Roper began making instruments in 1979. His first mandolin neck was made from a maple couch arm! Since then Pat has been making acoustic and electric; guitars, banjos, mandolins, ukuleles, guitar-banjos, electric bass, and stand-up electric bass. At Roper Guitars we aim to not only make works of art but instruments that sound INCREDIBLE ! We guarantee you will love to play and own; one of your own custom handmade Roper Guitars or other instruments.
Pat is a husband to Nora and father of 11 children. Dylan, Isaac, Andrew, Simon, Joseph, Jesse and John work along side their father in our shop creating Roper Handmade and custom instruments. Isaac is also creating his own line of electric pickups.
Pat lives with his family in beautiful Lillian, Alabama, along the beautiful Alabama Gulf Coast. In his spare time, Pat also builds houses and a variety of furniture.
